We wanted to introduce you to the brand Monamici that we are selling here at Scandinavian Minimall, as we know this brand is more or less unknown to the UK market. That is however not the case in Sweden, where the two sisters behind the brand, Helene Edsta and Caroline af Jochnick won the award for best children’s fashion designer 2010 in Sweden’s biggest  parenting magazine, Mama (www.mama.nu).

The magazine’s motivation of the price:

‘With a detailed collection, a dressed up design fuses a simplistic Nordic feeling throughout the entire collection, from the very basics to the fashion items. These two design mums create simple, high quality garments, ranging from baby to the rebellious teens.’

Their designs are now very popular in Scandinavia, and our hope at Scandinavian Minimall is of course that consumers over here and across the rest of the world will discover how stylish their clothing are, and how great the quality is.

Monamici is also an ethically conscious company proud to follow global codes of conduct with respect to environmental issues and human rights. We love their Spring/Summer 2011 kids fashion collection and are proud to be the first retailer to sell their clothes in the UK.
